The book 'Hemingway Knows Nothing' will be published in Belarusian
Skaryna Press publishing house announced the publication of a translation of the Ukrainian bestseller — 'Hemingway Knows Nothing' by poet and prose writer Artur Dron.
This book is a collection of personal essay-memoirs, a whisper about lost comrades-in-arms, and a timely reminder that even on the front, soldiers' inner lives remain just as complex. The new release is expected to be published at the end of September, writes bellit.info.
Artur Dron's book is sometimes funny, sometimes sad, and very captivating. When it was published in Ukraine, it immediately became a bestseller. The author was only 24 years old at the time. After university, he managed to spend six months in his dream job. In February 2022, he joined the 125th Territorial Defense Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. There, in the war, he realized that his experience differed radically from that of military writers of the past. The book is about this — about a different war.

The book received the prestigious Yuriy Shevelov Prize for the best Ukrainian essay book of 2025. This year, it is being published in nine languages, including Belarusian.
Artur Dron is primarily a poet. His two poetry books have garnered much attention both in Ukraine and far beyond its borders. They are actively translated and published in other languages. In October 2024, Artur Dron was wounded. During his rehabilitation after the injury, he wrote his first prose book.
