Ministry of Trade inspected "Svetofor" store chain and found violations everywhere
The Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade of Belarus (MART) conducted control and analytical measures in the stores of the "Svetofor" hard discounter chain. The inspections were organized after citizens' appeals, including those received via the Internet.
The agency reported that violations were found in all inspected retail outlets.
The most common violations included the absence of the mandatory assortment of goods, the lack of price tags, or necessary product information. Additionally, goods with expired shelf lives were found on sale.
For instance, in a store in Ivanava, Brest region, three types of meat products with a total weight of over 94 kilograms and a value exceeding 760 Belarusian rubles were removed from sale.
In other cases, products without specified shelf lives were on sale, including minced meat, confectionery, and cheeses. Similar violations were also recorded in Minsk.
Following the inspections, MART issued recommendations to the enterprise for eliminating the identified deficiencies, as well as a directive prohibiting the sale of certain goods. The agency reported that the legal entity would be brought to administrative responsibility.
According to MART, the "Svetofor" chain has about 190 stores in Belarus. It was founded in Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia, and also operates in other countries. The owners of the chain are the Schneider family, who periodically appear in Forbes' rankings of the wealthiest entrepreneurs.

Гэта ніякі не "Сьвятлафор", гэта маскальскі "Светофор" - у іх нават на афіцыйным сайце няма ні "сьвятлафораў", ні нават беларускае мовы і працуюць на гэтай тэрыторыі яны менавіта пад расейскаю назваю "Светофор" і шылды на іх крамах таксама напісаныя менавіта "Саетофор". Нават па прыведзенай спасылцы згаданы толькі і менавіта "Светофор" (я маўчу ўжо што там увесь артыкул ад пачатку і да апошняе кропкі таксама на расейскай).
Што за дурная манера перакладаць назвы расейскіх кампаній на беларускую? Чаму астатніх не перакладзеце? Напрыклад Microsoft - "Дробнамяккі", Safeway - "Бясьпечны Шлях", Carrefour - "Ростань", цудоўна ж будзе, праўда? Калі не - чым гэта менавіта расейскія канторы так адзначыліся што іх раптам трэба неадкладна "абеларушчваць". Гэта нейкая інфармацыйная кампанія каб зрабіць іх больш "свойскімі" для беларусаў і каб яны больш не выглядалі як акупанты і прышлыя чужынцы?
І нават згодна такой лёгіцы - чаму не перакладаеце Wildberries на якіясь "Дзікаягады", "Лента" - "Стужка", "Зарубежнефть" - "Замежжанафта", "Алмаз-Антей" - "Дыямэнт-Антэй"... Гэта ж увогуле бязглузьдзіца атрымліваецца - расейскі "Светофор" перакладаць, а расейскі ж "Wildberries" - не.
