A 32-year-old resident of Grodno is suspected of appropriating voluntary contributions collected by the guardian council of one of the schools. The woman used the money, which was intended to be spent on school needs, for herself.
The total amount of damage was 3640 rubles, according to the police.
The woman stated that she took the money after being dismissed from her job, when she was left without means of subsistence. She also explained her actions by the fact that she raises a child alone.
A criminal case has been initiated against the woman for fraud.
