According to information from the Russian state agency TASS, Witkoff and Kushner plan to arrive in Moscow on Saturday, September 5, and depart for Kyiv on Sunday, September 6. Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada Deputy Oleksiy Honcharenko also reported on the possible visit.

However, the trip of the American representatives to Kyiv has not yet been confirmed. The Kyiv Independent, citing its source, reported that Witkoff allegedly began to fear the visit due to Russian shelling of the Ukrainian capital. Other options for holding the meeting are also being considered.

Earlier, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Trump's representatives had confirmed the possibility of their arrival in Ukraine.

In recent days, Russia continues to attack Kyiv and the Kyiv region with missiles and jet drones. The shelling has resulted in fatalities and injuries, and damage to residential buildings and civilian infrastructure.

On the morning of September 4, Ukrainian media reported a Russian drone strike on the "Zhulyany" airfield near Kyiv. Additionally, in Brovary, a fire broke out on the territory of an industrial enterprise after a Russian attack, and the city was covered in smoke.
