At the medical congress in Wrocław, organizers removed Lukashenka's flag after protests by Belarusians
Belarusians were outraged that the red-green flag was among the flags displayed.

"The Congress of Medical Polonia" in the western Polish city of Wrocław gathered medics of various origins. At the entrance to the "Centennial Hall", flags of the countries of origin of the Congress participants were displayed. Belarusian participants noticed that among them was the red-green flag of Lukashenka's Belarus.
Belarusians from Wrocław appealed to the organizers with a protest.
"Our community was represented by the symbolism of the authorities from whom many of these doctors were forced to flee," their appeal stated.
The organizers replied that they would remove the flag and apologized to the Belarusians.
"Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We respect your position and will therefore remove the flag," it said.
As a result of political repression after 2020, about 150,000 Belarusians found refuge in Poland.
