Leader of "Alternative for Germany" demanded to expel Ukrainian men and bill Kyiv for damages

The leadership of the German opposition party has unveiled a radical plan to reduce the migration burden on the country's budget. It proposes not only to completely deprive refugees of social benefits but also to forcibly return mobilizable citizens to their homeland.

Alice Weidel, leader of the "Alternative for Germany" (AfD) party, stated in an interview with the Austrian far-right portal AUF1 the necessity of a complete review of relations with Ukraine. The politician directly announced her intention to stop funding Kyiv and claim money from it.

"We will stop payments to Ukraine and all support for the war, and also present significant claims for compensation for damages against Ukraine," Weidel emphasized.

Germany's social system also came under particular criticism. According to the AfD leader, the German economy is no longer able to sustain migrants, so all aid programs must be terminated.

"Over a million Ukrainians in Germany receive social benefits. This is truly inconceivable. These Ukrainians must also return," the politician stated.

Weidel placed the main emphasis on the need to deport a specific group – citizens who are evading conscription in EU countries. According to her estimates, this refers to a large-scale expulsion:

"Especially young Ukrainian men of conscription age – we are talking about numbers in the hundreds of thousands – these young people must return."
