Man Dies in Tractor Fire in Astravets District

On the evening of September 16, a fire occurred in a field near the village of Hurniki, Astravets district, resulting in one fatality.

As reported by the district newspaper "Astravetskaya Praŭda", one of the villagers noticed smoke from the field and saw a tractor on fire.

The fire destroyed the cabin of the agricultural machine and damaged the rear wheels. A severely burned body of a man was found inside the tractor.

According to preliminary reports, the fire could have been caused by a violation of electrical equipment operating rules.
