Missing Pensioner Found Alive in Baranavichy District After Two Days of Search
A large-scale search operation involving over seventy people and dozens of units of equipment unfolded around the village of Dzekaly. The elderly woman spent two nights in the forest without means of communication, but was ultimately rescued.

According to information from the official Telegram channel of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Belarus, the pensioner went into the forest to pick mushrooms on September 11. The police reported the need for search assistance to rescuers only the next day. The situation was complicated by the complete inability to determine the missing woman's geolocation, as she had not taken her mobile phone with her.
To survey the territory, 71 people and 18 units of equipment were mobilized. The majority of the group consisted of Ministry of Emergency Situations employees — 37 rescuers on 11 special vehicles. Volunteers also joined the operation.
In the afternoon of September 13, joint search teams discovered the missing woman in a forest area near the village of Dzekaly. The woman's condition required medical intervention. Rescuers immediately handed the victim over to an ambulance team, after which she was hospitalized.
