In Minsk public transport, it is forbidden to transport bicycles, with the exception of children's ones. This was stated by Konstantin Gololobov, the general director of "Minsktrans."

According to Gololobov, a child's bicycle can be taken into public transport. However, an adult bicycle cannot be transported, even if the interior is almost empty at the moment and the bicycle does not bother anyone.
The head of "Minsktrans" explained this by saying that other passengers might enter the interior at the next stop. A bicycle could hinder them: for example, when entering, one could accidentally bump into a person or dirty their clothes. Even if a bicycle needed to be transported urgently due to a breakdown, according to the head of the enterprise, this could create inconvenience for people traveling nearby.
Minsktrans also reminded that it is forbidden to enter public transport on roller skates and skateboards. This could be dangerous for other passengers.
