Russian producer Max Fadeev released a song about Belarus — and sang it with the daughter of a businessman linked to the Sheiman family
Famous Russian singer and producer Max Fadeev decided to create a series of songs dedicated to former Soviet republics.

Fadeev's song is titled "Belarus Maya" (My Belarus). The Russian artist released it on September 11, and will perform the song live for the first time on September 26 at his own concert in "Minsk-Arena".
Fadeev is currently creating a cycle of songs dedicated to former Soviet republics, and "Belarus Maya" is one of these works. This Russian-language song is full of clichés about Belarus. See for yourself:
"И в глазах-озёрах твоих
Столько силы, столько любви,
Над тобою буслы парят,
Моя дорогая земля […]
Над тобою звёзды горят,
И непокорённый вовек
Посреди Хатыни сейчас
Каменный стоит человек".
This song Fadeev recorded as a duet with Margo Zingman, an 11-year-old singer from Minsk. The Russian says he chose her because Margo captivated him with her talent:
"Of course, one could have invited an already famous artist — that would have been the easiest and most obvious path. But I'm always more interested in discovering true talent and giving it an opportunity to be heard. And in Margo, I heard that talent right away."
Margo's father is Alexander Zingman, a businessman who is heavily involved in projects in Africa. Together with Sergey Sheiman, Viktor Sheiman's son, Zingman was once a beneficiary of a gold mining business in Zimbabwe. In 2021, Zingman spent several days behind bars in Congo — he was arrested on suspicion of arms trafficking, but was released.
As for Margo, in 2025 she appeared on the Russian show "The Voice. Kids" and the local "Factor.BY. Kids" — in the latter, Zingman reached the super-final. Later, the girl also participated in the Russian "Children's New Wave," where she won second prize.
