Kelly Osbourne Lost So Much Weight After Her Father Ozzy Osbourne's Death That She Didn't Recognize Herself
"I wore a wig to the Grammys to hide my face."

Singer and actress Kelly Osbourne lost so much weight after her father Ozzy Osbourne's death that she didn't recognize herself.
41-year-old Kelly told The Mail on Sunday in an interview that she didn't realize how thin she had become in 2025 until she saw a photo of herself during a fitting for the 2026 Grammy Awards ceremony.
"I looked like the Crypt Keeper," Kelly described her emotions (referring to the character from the horror comic "Tales from the Crypt").
"I said, 'This is scary. I didn't know I looked like that.' My spine — you could see every bone. I didn't see what other people saw because I was in so much pain. I just saw a broken person."
Kelly's team tried to find an outfit for her for the Grammy ceremony so she wouldn't look even thinner. "I wore a wig to hide my face, so you couldn't see how narrow my cheekbones actually were."
"I was scared. I wanted to be there to support my mom and honor my dad's legacy, [but] I don't think I should have gone. I wasn't very healthy," she added.

Speaking about the loss of her father, Kelly noted: "You're filled with such pain that the feeling of hunger cannot even arise."
Renowned rock musician Ozzy Osbourne died on July 22, 2025, less than three weeks after his last performance with Black Sabbath members. The official cause of death was acute myocardial infarction and cardiac arrest.
