Simonyan complained that people are quietly boycotting the works of Z-writers and filmmakers

The propagandist supported Solovyov's proposal to "carefully gather all these protestors and send them out of the country via Verkhny Lars."

RT head Margarita Simonyan complained about the "protest voting" by the jury of Russia's main literary awards for Zakhar Prilepin's book "Tuma", writes "Agentstvo".

On the air of "Sunday Evening with Vladimir Solovyov," Simonyan stated that jury members of one of the main literary awards are giving Prilepin's novel zero points for political reasons. Simonyan did not specify which award she was referring to.

«Zakhar Prilepin, who almost died defending the Motherland, wrote an extraordinary book "Tuma" and generally writes extraordinary books. And people who sit on the juries of awards, the country's main awards—I won't name them—are giving him zero as a protest vote,» she said.

Solovyov, in response, suggested "carefully gathering all these protestors and sending them out of the country via Verkhny Lars." Simonyan replied that "it would be great."

The conversation began with a discussion of Yegor Beroev's series "Marik" about a military doctor. It was previously reported that at the "PILOT-2026" festival in Ivanovo, 12 critics refused to give it ratings, and the series took last place.

Prilepin's novel "Tuma" received the "Book of the Year" award last year, and this year the "Slovo" award, and was also shortlisted for the "Big Book" and longlisted for "Yasnaya Polyana".

Simonyan herself last week became a laureate of "Book of the Year" in the "Prose of the Year" nomination for her novel "First there was the Word — in the end there will be the Digit." The book was also included in the "Big Book" shortlist, albeit with scandal.
