And this is not the biggest prize in the poker career of 38-year-old Aliaksei Boika.
Belarusian Aliaksei Boika won $761,000 in a poker tournament. The Triton Poker Series Jeju II tournament took place at a casino on Jeju Island in South Korea. Boika defeated 131 opponents.
The prize pool was almost $3.3 million — the money was awarded to the top 23 players.
"This tournament required a lot of luck," said the Belarusian. "Sometimes it's better than skill."
Aliaksei Boika is 38 years old. He has been playing in tournaments and winning trophies for many years. His current winnings are not the largest in his career.
So, in March 2025, Boika took sixth place in the NLHE Triton Poker Super High Roller tournament and won $1.288 million. Two months later, Boika cashed twice at the Triton event in Montenegro, with total payouts amounting to $638,000.
Total prize money from tournaments over various years exceeded $7 million.
