A giant glazed cheese curd was brought to the regional Dazhynki (harvest festival) in Dzyarzhynsk. The 100-kilogram sweet treat was produced by the Slutsk Dairy Plant.
The cheese curd is called "Dubai Night" — it has pistachio paste inside.
The head of the Minsk region, Aleksey Kushnarenko, took on the task of cutting the cheese curd.
Recently, there has been a craze for gigantomania at regional festivals. Whether it's a giant cheese platter to be set up in Grodno for City Day, or 150 kilograms of potatoes to be fried in a huge pan in Uzdensky district, or a giant shawarma to be rolled in Lida.
