A barber with 7 years of experience, a graduate of the Old School Barber Academy, Jan Kastsienevich, has revived a charitable barbershop in a Catholic institution in Minsk — the Christian Social Center at 19 Serafimovicha Street, writes Katolik.life.

Jan is the only master in Belarus who works exclusively with a classic straight razor. He learned the secrets of the trade from Italian masters.
In his new workplace, the master, a Catholic believer, accepts clients without fixed prices — for a voluntary donation in an amount the visitor deems appropriate. If a client has nothing to pay with at all, Jan will perform the work "for free and with an open heart."
The charitable barbershop is named in honor of Saint Martin de Porres — the patron saint of barbers and social justice. As Jan notes, "religious background and modern old-school culture coexist perfectly."
The range of services includes men's haircuts, beard modeling, and traditional straight razor shaving.
