She lived for 96 years.

Former President of Republika Srpska in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Biljana Plavšić, died this morning in Belgrade at the age of 96. The funeral will take place in Banja Luka (Bosnia), writes rtsr.rs.
In the Republika Srpska of Bosnia and Herzegovina, she was one of two vice-presidents until September 14, 1996, when, under pressure from the international community, Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadžić transferred presidential powers to her. In the elections that year, she was elected President of Republika Srpska and held that position until 1998.
In January 2001, Plavšić voluntarily surrendered to the Hague Tribunal. On February 27, 2003, she was sentenced to 11 years in prison.
On June 26, 2003, she was transferred from The Hague to Sweden to serve her sentence in Hinnseberg prison, from where she was released in late October 2009 and returned to Belgrade after serving two-thirds of her term.
In Belgrade, Plavšić lived in seclusion, not engaging in political activity.
