297 people received Belarusian citizenship, including 20 minors. The corresponding decree was signed by Alexander Lukashenka.

New citizens of Belarus arrived from 28 states. Among them are Azerbaijan, Armenia, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Ukraine.
They work in agriculture, services, trade, healthcare, and education.
At the same time, Lukashenka rejected applications for Belarusian citizenship from a number of individuals who committed administrative offenses and criminal acts.
