Night attack on Sochi: air defense complex attacked, oil depot on fire
In the night of September 4, Sochi, Adler and the federal territory of Sirius were attacked by drones. Russian authorities confirmed a fire at an oil depot and damage to residential buildings. OSINT analysts suggest that another target was a Russian air defense division.

Residents of Sochi reported numerous explosions during the night, after which fires broke out in several locations. A high column of flame above the oil depot was visible for several kilometers.

“Damage to glazing was reported in several residential buildings and structures, and in some cases, fires broke out, which were promptly extinguished. A fire also occurred on the territory of the oil depot,” the operational headquarters of the Krasnodar Krai reported.
A separate fire broke out near the village of Sirius on the border with Abkhazia. The ASTRA publication analyzed eyewitness videos and determined that a position of a Russian S-300 or S-400 anti-aircraft missile system is located there.
Monitoring channels reported secondary detonation after the strike, but there is no independent confirmation of the destruction or damage to the complex yet.
