Lithuanian President walked from a shop and was captivated by the performance of a Belarusian street musician
Trumpeter Tim Suladze, who often plays on the streets of Vilnius, met Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda near a shop. The Lithuanian president praised the musician's performance, left him money, and took a joint selfie.
Suladze published a video of the meeting near the shopping center on Facebook. It shows Nausėda approaching the musician and leaving him a reward for his performance.
The Lithuanian President also did not refuse the musician a joint photo.
“I really want to live in such a country and be its citizen, where the president can be met near a shop, he stops to listen to my music, and agrees to take a selfie with me,” the musician wrote.
Tim Suladze participated in peaceful protests in Belarus in 2020, was arrested and served administrative detention, after which he was forced to leave the country.
He now lives in Lithuania.
