Saboteur arrested in Germany, suspected of attacks on German power grids
48-year-old Daniel W., who was sought across Europe, was arrested near a power plant.

German police arrested Daniel W., suspected of attacks on substations in Brandenburg, North Rhine-Westphalia, and Saxony, BILD reports.
The man was caught during a traffic check in the Weisweiler area of North Rhine-Westphalia, near a local power plant. Police confirmed his arrest to the publication. He did not resist.
Daniel W. had been sought since September 3rd. The investigation considers him responsible for several acts of sabotage on energy infrastructure facilities.
Initially, police believed the suspect was hiding in a truck converted into a camper. The vehicle was found on September 4th, but Daniel W. himself was not there. Later, police assumed he was traveling by bicycle and issued a European arrest warrant for him.
