It will be possible to pay for travel on Minsk ground transport with a card from any bank
The terms for implementing the new fare payment system will be announced later.

It will be possible to pay for travel on Minsk ground transport with a card from any bank — similar to the metro. This was stated by Alexander Komendant, First Deputy Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee, Minsk-News reports.
He noted that Minsk residents will be additionally informed about the terms of implementation of the new fare payment system. In addition, after its launch, a transition period will be provided so that each passenger can choose the most convenient payment method for them.
— We have tested this system on individual routes, and together with the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Communications, we are analyzing potential suppliers of the validators themselves and their software. Cards from all banks will work — this is a unified means, similar to that in the metro, where we can use a single travel pass or a bank card, — commented the First Deputy Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee.
Currently, all familiar payment methods for travel remain: tickets can be purchased from the driver, at Minsktrans kiosks, metro ticket offices, and the Tabakerka network.
