"ML Vitebsk" said goodbye to the third coach of the season

Russian specialist Filipp Sakalinsky resigned.

"Today it was time to shake the strong, courageous hand of Filipp Aleksandrovich Sakalinsky, who decided to leave the post of head coach of "Maxline". We respect your decision, Sanych, and thank you for your work for the benefit of the club. At the same time, we are not sad, because Filipp Sakalinsky remains in the club's structure and will continue to work in yellow-green colors," reports the club's press service.

This is the resignation of the third coach this 2026 season for the country's football champion.

The club started the season with Mikhail Martinovich, who was fired at the end of April. Then the club was headed by Russian specialist Magomed Adiev, who was fired at the end of June before the start of the European Cups.

In this year's championship, "ML" is in second place, four points behind leader "Isloch", but with a game in hand. In the last five games, the club won only once and drew four matches, including yesterday's game with "Dnipro", which is in second to last place.

In the European Cups, they were eliminated in the third round of the Conference League.
