Lukashenka announced facts of law enforcement officials 'covering' fuel embezzlers
Aliaksandr Lukashenka, at a selector meeting, pointed to crimes uncovered during the harvest, including thefts of fuel and lubricants, writes BelTA.

"We only started harvesting, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs has already uncovered 46 crimes. The main ones are theft of components and spare parts, bribery. In the first place is the theft of fuel and lubricants," he stated.
Aliaksandr Lukashenka noted that this is a long-standing problem.
"I have on my desk the results of a fresh monitoring, which showed that local authorities approach the elimination of thefts indifferently, absolutely formally. Therefore, unscrupulous workers steal fuel and are completely confident in their impunity," he emphasized.
"It is especially outrageous that some law enforcement officers, instead of fighting these embezzlers, enter into a share with them and 'cover' them, like in the wild 90s. Guys, you understand that we will not allow the 90s, even in this minor problem," he declared.
