Denmark claims its helicopter was fired upon by a Russian frigate
A Russian frigate fired two flare rockets at a Danish military helicopter that was photographing the ship in international waters near Gedser, reported the Danish Armed Forces. The name of the frigate was not specified.

Danish Air Force Commander Jan Dam said that one of the flares could have hit the helicopter or the military personnel. "When they take photos, the helicopter doors are open," Dam said.
Military analyst Kenneth Ellegaard Bøl explains that what happened can be considered a threat to flight safety, and the Russians had no reason to do anything like that.
Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen stated that she considers this a serious incident and views it as part of Russia's behavior in Europe. "Russia is becoming increasingly aggressive, intensifying hybrid warfare against Europe, and testing NATO," she believes.
The Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned Russian Ambassador Vladimir Barbin to discuss the incident. "This is absolutely unacceptable," said Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen.
"Why should we somehow restrict ourselves?". RTBD director explained why she staged a play based on Pushkin in one of the last theaters in the country that worked in Belarusian
