«I said: we are ready for the restoration of relations, trade cooperation».

Belarusian Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov hopes for a warming of relations with Poland.
He says that during the meeting with Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski, which took place on September 22 on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York, no mutual claims were voiced.
«There were no mutual claims at all, because both we and the Poles understand that we need to move forward. It is very good that such a meeting took place. It was timely. The issues we discussed are, in principle, very relevant for our countries,» — said the head of the Foreign Ministry on the air of «Belarus 1».
At the same time, he reminded that it was not Belarus that first imposed sanctions or closed border crossings.
«I said: we are ready for the restoration of relations, trade cooperation, more active interaction at the border. The Polish side already sees this, and there is nothing to reproach us for,» — the diplomat stated.
