In Rechytsa district, an encounter with a moose turned a BMW into a pile of scrap metal

The incident occurred on September 14 around 6 AM. A 38-year-old driver of a BMW 730 was driving on the M-10 highway. At some point, a moose unexpectedly ran out onto the road.

The car collided with the animal at high speed, after which it was swept into a ditch.

There, the car crashed into a concrete pipe and sustained very serious damage — virtually turned into a pile of metal. The consequences of the accident were captured on video.

Despite the force of the impact, the driver and the 36-year-old passenger were very lucky: both survived. The men sustained injuries and were taken to the hospital.
