Details became known about the accident near Lelchitsy, in which three teenagers died
In the middle of the night, a drunk young man took his older brother's car keys without permission. He survived, but three passengers died.
The Investigative Committee shared details of the fatal accident in Lelchitsy district, where a 16-year-old and two 17-year-old teenagers died.
Tonight, five teenagers from Lelchitsy, after a joint recreational outing, decided to drive around the district. For this, a 17-year-old boy took the keys to his older brother's Audi from home without permission, got behind the wheel, and drove his friends out of town. The driver and some of the teenagers were drunk.
At approximately 3:30 AM, on the 77th kilometer of the Mozyr — Lelchitsy — Mikashevichi — Ukraine border road, the young man lost control and swerved into the oncoming lane. When attempting to return to his lane, the car was thrown into the right ditch, where it collided with a tree.
Two 17-year-old and one 16-year-old passengers died. The driver and another 15-year-old passenger were hospitalized.
