National Bank Calculated How Much Money Belarusians Sent Abroad and How Much They Received
The National Bank of Belarus published statistics on money transfers that were sent from and received in Belarus through international systems in the second quarter of 2026.

It turned out that during this period, almost a quarter more money came to Belarus from abroad than was sent from the country.
In total, 33.672 million dollars in equivalent were transferred from Belarus abroad. Meanwhile, 42 million dollars were received in Belarus from other countries.
The average amount of a single transfer also differed. From Belarus abroad, an average of 864.4 dollars was sent per transfer, while the average transfer to Belarus was 602 dollars.
