During the cold season, an open-air ice arena is planned to be launched in Hugo Chavez Park. This was reported to "Minsk-Novosti" by Aliaksandr Yarmalovich, the general director of UE "Minskzelenbud".
The new ice rink will become the main winter attraction in the park. It is planned to be operated from November to March at temperatures up to 7-8 degrees Celsius.
In addition, the sports zone has already been equipped with courts for volleyball, football, streetball, outdoor exercise equipment, and a roller ski track has been laid, and a velodrome built.
In recent years, the park has expanded, and its total area has exceeded 50 hectares.
