On August 12, a message was received on the 112 line stating that a child needed help on Maskouskaya Street in Brest, reports the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

When MES units arrived at the scene, it turned out that the boy was in an excavation pit of a dug-up heating main at a depth of about three meters.
MES workers pulled the child to the surface and handed him over to an ambulance crew.
After examination by medics, the boy was hospitalized.
