It Became Known When One Can Apply to the New Academy of Intellectual Technologies
Recruitment for the newly created Academy of Intellectual Technologies is planned to begin by September 1, 2027. This was reported by Minister of Education Andrei Ivanets on the "First Information" TV channel.
Approximately 150 people are planned to be admitted to the academy annually. In the first stage, those capable of achieving serious results will be selected, with a main focus on practical projects.
As the minister noted, this does not necessarily have to be scientific or research work. It is primarily about developing specific technological projects and solving practical problems for organizations and enterprises, as well as creating new companies and innovative productions.
The idea of creating a new educational center was expressed by Alexander Lukashenka at the beginning of the year. In August, he emphasized that the academy should be applied in nature and not turn into a regular university that simply issues diplomas.
It is planned that specialists capable of creating their own solutions in promising areas, including artificial intelligence, new materials, digital industry, and quantum technologies, will be trained there.
