In Belarus: +10 Political Prisoners

Human rights defenders recognized several people as political prisoners.

These are Valyantsina Berezina, Maryna Dalmatava, Siarhei Zhukouski, Siarhei Zaruba, Aliaksei Kakhanovich, Mikhail Karol, Viktoryia Patashkina, Anatol Rybak, Aliaksandr Sasnouski, Anton Tsialesh.

According to "Viasna," there are 868 political prisoners in Belarus.

The last major release was on March 19, when 250 political prisoners were freed.

On July 1, Lukashenka, on the eve of the official Independence Day, signed a decree on pardoning 28 political prisoners, but some of them were "home chemists".
