Lavrov: Representatives of Great Britain and France Came to Moscow for Non-Public Talks

Representatives of France and Great Britain came to Russia for non-public negotiations, stated Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov at the "Primakov Readings" forum.

He called it hypocrisy that French President Emmanuel Macron reprimanded the head of the European Council, António Costa, for contacts with Moscow.

"We never refuse requests to come and talk," Lavrov emphasized.

The minister added that the Russian side "also knows the price of these conversations."
