A 36-year-old previously convicted Minsk resident was charged with the rehabilitation of Nazism, BelTA writes.
It is reported that in December 2025, he posted a publication on Telegram which contained a positive assessment of Adolf Hitler.
In court, he pleaded not guilty. The man had previously been convicted for illegal trafficking of prohibited substances, and in 2023 — for repeated public display of Nazi symbols — tattoos in the form of swastikas and SS emblems.
Given the evidence presented, the Minsk City Court, based on Part 1 of Art. 130-1 of the Criminal Code, sentenced the man to two and a half years in a strict regime penal colony.
In accordance with Art. 107 of the Criminal Code, compulsory measures of security and treatment for drug addiction were applied to the accused.
