In Guatemala, a 15-year-old girl regained consciousness in a coffin during her own funeral
The girl spent about eight hours in the coffin.

In Guatemala, 15-year-old Yuleidy Ishcotayak, whom relatives considered dead, unexpectedly regained consciousness during the farewell ceremony. The girl spent about eight hours in the coffin before her mother noticed that her daughter had opened her eyes and started moving, Bild reports, citing TV SAC.
“My heart started hurting very badly. I felt heavy, and then I lost consciousness,” the girl said.
Her father tried to take his daughter to the hospital, but on the way, he could not detect her breathing or pulse. Deciding that the girl had died, instead of seeking medical attention, he bought a coffin and brought her home.
Relatives, neighbors, and parishioners of the local church gathered to say goodbye to the girl. Approximately eight hours later, the mother noticed movement through the glass window in the coffin. Those present opened the lid and helped the girl get out.
According to local media reports, Yuleidy was conscious and asked for water. Her father called what happened a miracle.
