Ukraine attacked Gorodets in the Nizhny Novgorod region, where a data center of the Russian Federal Tax Service is located. The Ukrainian monitoring channel Exilenova+ reported about the attack and explosions in the data center area.

Drone debris fell in the city, and traffic was temporarily stopped.

Mikhail Klimarov, Executive Director of the 'Internet Protection Society', told Echo of Moscow that the Federal Tax Service has two interchangeable data centers — in Dubna, Moscow region, and in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

According to him, tax data is stored there, as well as records of civil registry offices (ZAGS), the register of legal entities, and, possibly, cadastral data.
