Containers for unwanted clothes and shoes have appeared in Minsk. Where they are located
You can donate clothes, towels, blankets, bedding, and shoes.
Minsk has started installing containers for collecting old clothes, home textiles, and shoes. By the end of 2026, 50 such containers are planned to be placed in the capital, and next year they should appear in all districts of the city. The project is managed by the company "Remondis Minsk", writes Onliner.by.

The first four containers are already available at the following addresses: Kosmonavtov Street, 33; Lidskaya Street, 14; Kuntsevshchina Street, 17; Pushkin Avenue, 156. The company intends to replenish the network with new points every week.
By the end of the year, containers will be placed in Moskovsky, Frunzensky, and Oktyabrsky districts.
You can donate clothes, towels, blankets, bedding, and shoes. However, items must be clean and dry. Before dropping them into the container, the textiles must be packed in a plastic bag.
Collected items will be transported by special vehicles and delivered to a separate sorting line. Textiles will be separated by fabric type and fiber composition. Items suitable for further use will be given a second life, while unsuitable ones are planned to be processed into wiping rags. The remaining materials will be used for the production of RDF fuel.
The containers can be recognized by their design featuring a four-hole button. They are planned to be placed in high-traffic areas, separate from household waste collection sites.
