In Belarus, salaries for public sector workers are planned to be increased in 2027. This is stipulated by the draft republican budget for the coming year, announced Vasily Panasyuk, Chairman of the Standing Commission of the House of Representatives on Budget and Finance.
According to Vasily Panasyuk, financing for the social sphere is planned to increase by 11-12%. Special attention will be paid to raising salaries for low-wage categories of workers, including junior medical personnel and employees of preschool institutions.
The project also provides funds for economic support. Primarily, these funds are planned to be directed towards increasing the competitiveness of domestic products and supporting exports.
Republican budget revenues in 2027 are expected to be at 58.9 billion rubles, and expenditures at 60.8 billion. Thus, the planned deficit will be approximately 1.9 billion rubles and, according to calculations, will be lower than in 2026.
