Ukraine and Russia announced a ceasefire regime in the Oleshky area from October 27
Earlier, US First Lady Melania Trump stated that she had agreed with Ukraine and Russia on a ceasefire in Oleshky. According to her, it was supposed to start on October 29, but it appears it may start even two days earlier.

«For the conduct of a humanitarian operation in the temporarily occupied Oleshky of Kherson Oblast, Ukraine is introducing a ceasefire regime in the designated area from 03:00 on October 27 according to Kyiv time», — reported the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Earlier, the Chief of the General Staff of Russia, Valery Gerasimov, also announced a ceasefire regime in this area from 4:00 AM on October 27 according to Moscow time. In practice, this is the same time, because on the night of October 24-25, Ukraine, along with all of Europe, will set clocks back by one hour, while Russia and Belarus will not do so.
It is planned that during the ceasefire, civilian representatives from both sides, accompanied by an «impartial American media organization», will visit residents of Oleshky in their homes to determine what assistance they need. Those who wish will be able to evacuate to Ukraine or Russia.
