Peskov called the Bloomberg article about negotiation conditions speculation
The Kremlin advises not to take seriously the Bloomberg publication stating that Russia allegedly does not intend to resume negotiations with Ukraine until full control over the Donbas territory is established.

This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the Russian president, in response to a question from RBC.
Commenting on the agency's publication, Peskov reminded that President Vladimir Putin formulated the conditions for ending hostilities two years ago.
When asked a clarifying question about the Bloomberg publication, which also claimed that the Kremlin no longer intends to discuss the return of any territories, including areas of the Kharkiv region, Peskov essentially did not answer.
“Such publications should not be taken seriously, one should not pay special attention to them. They rather fall into the category of speculation,” he added.
Today, Bloomberg, citing sources, reported that Russia has allegedly changed its position regarding the terms of a possible conflict settlement. Moscow does not want to discuss the transfer of territories under the control of Russian troops to Ukraine, and expects to retain areas of the Sumy and Kharkiv regions bordering Russia as a buffer zone. Also, according to the agency's interlocutors, the Russian authorities consider it premature to return to negotiations until full control over the territory of the "DPR" is established.
