Kolya Lukashenka's brother builds a pharmaceutical complex for $10 million
The enterprise will be located in the special economic zone "Great Stone", writes "Buro".
A new major player has appeared on the pharmaceutical market in Belarus — CJSC "PharmaScience", founded at the end of 2024, which received the status of a resident of the "Great Stone" industrial park in May 2026.
As investigators from "Buro" found out, one of the four founders of the company is Dmitry Abelsky — an ophthalmologist and the eldest son of Irina Abelskaya, head of the medical commission, senator, and Kolya's mother.
Along with him, the beneficiaries include Oleg Paznyak — co-founder and top manager of the Voka chain of ophthalmology clinics, and Andrei and Valery Yaramchuk, whose family controls the pharmaceutical company "Pharmtechnology".
The new company has launched a project to build its own plant, which will specialize in the production of eye drops.
The project is estimated at $10 million and envisages reaching a capacity of up to 10 million packages per year by 2027–2028.
To attract initial funds for equipment procurement and process setup, the company issued bonds for 3.5 million rubles. Subsequently, investors expect to receive at least 3 million rubles in net profit annually with revenues of 10 million rubles.
