Five Towers to the Sky: How the Construction of the International Financial Center in Minsk is Progressing

In "Minsk World", the construction of the international financial center (IFC) continues — one of the capital's most ambitious and significant projects. Denis Vikhrenko, First Deputy Head of the Oktyabrsky District Administration, told "Minsk-News" how it is progressing.

The architectural ensemble, which will unite five towers 14, 26, and 42 stories high, is gradually taking shape. Already now, the complex's buildings have almost acquired their final appearance — their glass facades effectively shimmer, demonstrating how the architects' vision is being brought to life.

— According to data as of July 20, work is underway on all objects of the complex, and construction rates remain high, — noted Denis Vikhrenko. — 625 specialists are involved in the construction site, each contributing to the creation of the city's future business center.

Facade works on the complex's objects are at different stages: on a number of buildings, module installation is already 100% complete, while on others, it is still ongoing. In total, several thousand facade elements still need to be installed.

In parallel, ventilated facades are being installed: brackets are mounted, thermal insulation and a wind protection membrane are laid, and aluminum cassettes are being installed.

Inside the buildings, finishing and engineering works are actively underway. On many objects, monolithic works are already completed, roof structures are in place, and ventilation shafts have been erected.

Water supply, sewerage, heating, ventilation, smoke extraction, and air conditioning systems are at various stages — from pipe laying and riser installation to equipment connection and commissioning.

The readiness of individual systems reaches 90–98%.

On one of the objects, landscaping works have begun from the side of Mira Avenue: road curbs are being installed and paving slabs are being laid (10% of the total volume has been completed so far).
