A new Ozon marketplace sorting center, with an area of 2.55 thousand square meters, has started operating in Grodno. Its opening, as stated, should speed up order delivery to buyers and goods shipment from sellers in the western regions of Belarus, writes Office Life.
The center will sort and process orders, as well as handle product returns. In the initial phase, it will be able to process up to 20,000 orders per day, or over 600,000 monthly. By December, the company plans to increase capacity to 55,000 orders per day.
Ozon noted that the necessity of opening a new facility is linked to rapidly growing demand. In the second quarter of 2026, residents of Belarus placed more than three times more orders on the marketplace than in the same period last year. Thanks to the new center, buyers and sellers in the western part of the country will have the same delivery and shipment speed capabilities as in Minsk.
The new complex meets modern requirements for warehouse logistics. It is equipped with hydraulic loading platforms and modern structures, allowing for more efficient and uninterrupted processing of goods.
Previously, Ozon's logistics network in Belarus included a logistics hub in Minsk and sorting centers in Orsha and Baranovichi.
The Russian company has been operating in the Belarusian market since 2021. In 2025, it was the first among marketplaces in Belarus to commission an automated 3D sorter, which increased the speed and accuracy of order processing. The network of pick-up points is also actively expanding: in the second quarter of 2026, their number increased by more than one and a half times compared to the same period last year. The platform's turnover during this time more than doubled, and the number of active buyers grew by 51 percent.
The company's financial performance also continues to grow. In the second quarter of 2026, Ozon's net profit increased threefold compared to last year, and the marketplace's turnover in Belarus is growing almost twice as fast as a year ago.
