Former Belarusian National Rowing Team Coach Valery Gaiduk Dies

Valery Gaiduk died on July 31. The tragedy was reported by the Belarusian Rowing Federation.

Valery Gaiduk worked with the national team from 1991 to 2003. Under his leadership in 1996, Yekaterina Khadatovich (Karsten) won the first Olympic gold medal in the history of the independent country in Atlanta, USA.
