The last of three grain terminals in Novorossiysk has ceased operations
The KSK grain terminal in the port of Russian Novorossiysk has temporarily ceased operations "to ensure the safety of employees and infrastructure." Thus, none of the three main grain terminals in this port are currently operating.

The KSK terminal has ceased unloading road and rail transport, loading grain onto sea vessels, and other operations. Earlier, on August 12, after Ukrainian drone attacks, two other terminals suspended operations.
KSK is one of Russia's largest deep-water grain terminals. Its transshipment capacity is 10.5 million tons of grain cargo per year. For comparison, the capacity of the other two terminals is 8.5 million and 7.1 million tons per year.
Thus, the cessation of operations at all three facilities has affected significant capacities for Russian grain exports through the port of Novorossiysk.
A massive attack by Ukrainian drones on Russia's Krasnodar Krai occurred on the night of August 12. According to Governor Veniamin Kondratyev, Novorossiysk was the most severely affected. Around 60 residential buildings were damaged, as well as water supply facilities and road infrastructure. Three people died, and 24 were injured.
The Ukrainian General Staff, in turn, stated that during the attack on facilities in Novorossiysk, four ships of the Russian Navy were damaged: the frigates "Admiral Makarov" and "Admiral Essen", the small missile ship "Buyan-M" and the patrol ship "Vasily Bykov".
At the same time, the Krasnodar governor did not mention damage to the grain terminals in his report on the consequences of the attack. However, after the attack, two of them immediately suspended operations, and KSK joined them the next day.
