The "Technology" Publishing House declared an "extremist organization"
The publishing house was declared an extremist organization on June 10. This was done by the Economic Court of Minsk, but the entry was added to the list of extremist formations today.
Recall that in February, mass arrests of publishers and book distributors took place in Minsk.
Among others, the founder of the publishing house Vaclau Bahdanovich, his wife Alena, and daughters Antonina and Victoria were detained. Later, all were released. The chief editor of the publishing house, Zmitser Sańko, was also detained.
In April, the Ministry of Information suspended the license of "Technology" as a distributor of printed publications.
The publishing house has been operating since 1988.
