Lukashenka announced that Belarus sells potash to the USA

Belarus has started supplying potash fertilizers to the USA, but is asking for the return of a debt, Lukashenka stated today at the Abuz-Liasnouski training ground.

"Now we are loading potash — selling it to the United States of America. If you want potash fertilizers from us (if you want to purchase them) — please. We cannot do it immediately. Here, we have availability. We have already contracted them for this year, and we will consider next year. Now there is an opportunity to load a vessel (we will definitely finish loading tomorrow) — take it. But return the debt. 43-44 million dollars of ours are stuck in "Citibank" — the company that cooperated with us paid the money. They are stuck in rich America. Please, return this money to us," Lukashenka said.

He also spoke about issues in contacts with the USA and conditions for a meeting with Donald Trump.

"We are open. They have lifted sanctions from a number of our enterprises, and are ready to lift more. There are a bunch of questions," the head of state said. "Embassies — let's discuss how we will restore (the full operation of the embassy). Nuclear materials and other things — we have an entire program there — please. If you want to purchase potash fertilizers from us (if you want to) — please," he added.
