Victoria Azarenka has left the ranking list.

After the conclusion of the US Open, the world ranking of female tennis players was updated. The tournament winner, representative of Kazakhstan Elena Rybakina, has 9901 points.
Aryna Sabalenka, who lost the final to Rybakina and lost 2000 ranking points, accumulated for winning the tournament last year, has 7875 points. The gap behind Elena is 2026 points.
Sabalenka was the world number one for 99 consecutive weeks, starting from September 19, 2024. But this year she lost her advantage. The last tournaments she won were in March; it was a "sunshine double": victories at tournaments in Indian Wells and Miami.
Jessica Pegula has 7265 points, Coco Gauff - 7244, Mirra Andreeva - 5743.
Victoria Azarenka has left the ranking list.
The reason is that the world ranking includes tennis players who play during the year, and Victoria played her last match on August 29, 2025. Azarenka was the world number one in 2012 and 2013.
