Director of the studio that installed Ihar Tur's kitchen for 23 thousand rubles arrested for fraud
The propagandist, together with his wife, advertised a successful business that turned out to be a pyramid scheme.
It became known about the arrest of the director of a company that had been producing custom-made furniture for 15 years — we are talking about "Kuhni Chery". It was headed by Yaroslav Talochka.
As reported by the police, at a certain point, the enterprise began to experience financial and production problems. Despite this, the head continued to accept new orders, even when the company was no longer able to fulfill previous ones, and some of the equipment broke down.
According to the investigation, the director tried to cover the accumulated debts using money from new clients, employing a scheme similar to a financial pyramid.
The total amount of damage caused to the victims currently exceeds 1 million rubles.
Even earlier, outraged clients who couldn't wait for their furniture urged others not to trust positive reviews — claiming they were all paid for.
Last year, propagandist Ihar Tur shared his enthusiasm for "Kuhni Chery" together with his wife Ksenia — the company made them a premium kitchen for their new home.
To understand the price, one of "Nasha Niva"'s readers asked the manufacturer how much an identical kitchen, as seen in the video, would cost.
"Sometimes visually similar projects can differ in price significantly. In this case, the customer chose premium segment materials and fittings. [...] The cost of the turnkey project was 23,018 Belarusian rubles," the company replied.
In the video, Ksenia Tur says that friends advised them to contact "Kuhni Chery" — they had ordered a kitchen from this company and were very satisfied.
Ihar, no less cheerfully, says:
"For me, as the person who was responsible for financing this whole matter, it was very important that the company 'Kuhni Chery' works with the customer, taking into account all their interests. I call — they tell me: 'Yes, of course, we will do it for you.' At this moment, with the kitchen already installed, I have full confidence that if something goes wrong or if my wonderful wife has another idea, 'Kuhni Chery' will do it."
Ksenia claimed that from the moment the contract was signed until the kitchen installation, "a maximum of one month, or maybe even less," passed.
Ihar confirmed: "At every stage, everything went smoothly and quickly, for which I am endlessly grateful to 'Kuhni Chery' as the husband of a wonderful wife."
Both Ksenia and Ihar then reposted the commercial to their stories. The video garnered about 45 thousand views, and even space tourist Marina Vasilevskaya liked it.
The last post on the company's Instagram was a message in which employees stated that "the era of 'Chery' has ended" and apologized to customers.
According to them, company employees had not received salaries for many months but continued to work, fulfill obligations to clients, and hoped that the situation could still be rectified. Now, the employees themselves are also among the victims.
Social media reports indicate that the problems might have affected more than a hundred of the company's clients.
"Kuhni Chery" is currently in the liquidation stage.
