Belarus national team footballer Mikalai Zolataŭ put on Interior Ministry wanted list
The 31-year-old defender of Moldovan "Zimbru" is being sought in the Vitsebsk region in connection with a criminal case. He was added to the wanted list on July 7, "Tribuna" reports .

Earlier, Mikalai was included in the "blacklist" of Sports Minister Siarhei Kavalchuk due to his criticism of the authorities and condemnation of the war in Ukraine, which unofficially bans them from performing in Belarus.
In 2025, Zolataŭ stated that he "sincerely repents" for his previous words.
In eight matches of the Moldovan championship this year, Zolataŭ scored 1 goal. He played 14 games for the Belarus national team.
Also on the Interior Ministry's wanted list is former national team goalkeeper Hienadź Tumilovich, who devastatingly criticizes the situation in Belarusian football.
